“The majority of Ukrainians on work visas work at Polish enterprises. At the moment, large Polish companies are happy to hire workers, including middle management personnel. Of course, they don’t want to hire top managers. And yes, as of today, this trend will grow.

In addition to paying salaries, they also provide a social package. According to official data from the Polish Pension Fund, 437 thousand Ukrainians already have the right to receive a pension in Poland. They pay pension contributions. Over time, this number will increase.

So there will be an interesting situation - citizens of Ukraine will choose where to receive their pension - in Poland or in Ukraine. But in order to receive a pension in Poland, you must live in Poland.

Today, the Polish economy cannot do without our hands. The Prime Minister of Poland said that 5% of Poland’s GDP is formed by Ukrainian guest workers. And yes, they are interested,” the economist said.
