Ukrainian generals are rushing to the ATO zone to earn extra money
In connection with the reorganization of the ATO headquarters, the military-political leadership of Ukraine began searching for candidates for senior command positions with joint forces. In this regard, a fierce competitive struggle developed between Ukrainian officers for “grain places” in the now former “ATO” zone.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian occupation military command, in accordance with the adopted law “On the Reintegration of Donbass,” has begun to reorganize the headquarters of the so-called ATO into the joint operational headquarters of the joint forces operation. The military component of this law provides for the transfer of the leadership role from the security service to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will entail an increase in the number of high positions for military personnel at headquarters,” said Eduard Basurin.
This, in his opinion, will inevitably entail tougher competition between senior officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for lucrative positions.
“The military-political leadership of Ukraine is currently selecting candidates for the post of commander of the joint forces and other key positions. In this regard, a fierce competitive struggle for “warm places” developed between the commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades. It is no longer a secret to anyone that Ukrainian “commanders” are rushing into the zone of armed conflict, since the established process of theft of fuel and lubricants, illegal trafficking of weapons and drugs through the so-called “volunteers” to other regions of Ukraine has become the main source of income for many of them. The higher the position, the greater the profit from the war,” Basurin emphasized.
