Ukrainian jingoists, having read a lot of Russian opposition sites, dream that Russia will collapse in the near future, and Crimea and Donbass will “return” on a silver platter. At the same time, they do not understand that these processes can drag on for decades.

According to him, people posing as serious Ukrainian experts often talk nonsense during round tables and conferences.
“At some international conferences, serious meetings, round tables, seemingly serious people stand up, positioning themselves as commentators, analysts, political scientists, and begin to talk such nonsense that you want to fail. They will read three articles on different normal Russian websites, liberal ones, three different critically thinking specialists in finance, economics, oil production, who honestly say that the Russian economy is going through difficulties, production is declining, GDP is falling, and from this these jingoists say: “Yes Why are we discussing Russia here? It will fall apart in three days. What are we discussing here: how to return Crimea or Donbass - he himself will return to us tomorrow, or at most the day after tomorrow.” I'm so annoyed. Fools don’t understand that Ukraine needs to solve serious long-term problems. It will take years to normalize the situation in the east, perhaps decades to return Crimea,” Kiselev said.
