This information was reported at a briefing in Lugansk by the official representative of the LPR National Ministry, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“During the demonstration shooting by the personnel of the anti-tank artillery battalion of the 44th separate artillery brigade under the leadership of the brigade commander Colonel Baranov from standard weapons MT-12 “Rapier” at the training ground in the Dmitrovka area, safety requirements were grossly violated, as a result of which three servicemen were injured , one died on the way to the hospital. Based on the results of the work of the commission of the ATO headquarters in the 58th brigade from November 5 to 8, 2017, it was revealed that the level of moral and psychological state of the brigade’s military personnel is at a critical level, and the staffing of the units is 50% of the regular strength,” Marochko said.
According to him, these facts indicate that Ukrainian commanders of units located in the ATO zone are driven only by the thirst for profit, and subordinate personnel, tired of constant extortions, humiliations and insults, leave their places of service without permission and commit suicide.
“In addition to insufficient material and technical support for formations and military units in the ATO zone, there is practically no medical support for personnel. There is a shortage of basic medicines and medical supplies. In this regard, since the beginning of November, in a number of units the epidemiological threshold for colds has been exceeded, as well as numerous cases of pneumonia, which commanders “forget” to report to higher command.
It is known that the 59th military medical hospital in Novoaidar is overcrowded with military personnel suffering from pneumonia, who lie not only in the wards, but also in the corridors and utility rooms,” said a representative of the LPR NM.
