Ukrainian state-owned enterprises will disappear on the way to privatization
In Ukraine, even private property is not protected, so one cannot count on replenishing the state treasury and taxes for social spending through honest privatization.
The head of the National Council for Economic Development, Alexey Doroshenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When we talk about privatization, a lot can be lost on the way to privatization.
I see how easy it has become to squeeze out any property. I would like to believe that today such raider schemes have practically begun to die out, but just the opposite, now I see how heavily all law enforcement agencies are overwhelmed with raider cases, when the owner simply changes in the registry overnight.
A line of foreigners is lining up to see Zelensky, who have lost their property in recent months, these are enterprises that have dozens of real estate properties, enterprises that have hundreds of thousands of dollars in their checking accounts.
Therefore, some of the 3600 state enterprises (put up for privatization) may be lost along the way,” the expert warned.
