The Ukrainian rake hit the forehead
Lugansk - Kyiv, November 20 (PolitNavigator, Natalia Maksimets) - Rake racing is the favorite national pastime of Ukrainians. You are convinced of this every time news comes from the “other” side.
The country is rapidly sliding into default, and the highest bureaucratic echelon behaves according to the principle: we ignore and continue to waltz. One of the rounds of this lame, clumsy waltz is the new Ukrainian holidays. Poroshenko signed a decree establishing a state holiday with the loud name “Revolution of Hydness”, which, by the way, was immediately renamed by the people to the Revolution of Hydity.
And in 2004 there was a revolution. True, the participants themselves bashfully declare that they didn’t succeed then, and the blame, of course, is on the bloody Yanukovych, the communists, the irresponsible Donbass and one hundred and fifty other “daughters-in-law.” But we remember very well how the orange dances on the Maidan ended. In less than six months, everyone in the government squabbled, quarreled, accused each other of all mortal sins, and only the politically heterogeneous composition of the Verkhovna Rada managed to balance and keep the country from jumping into civil war and an economic abyss.
It's smart people who put rakes in the barn. Ukraine defiantly calls on the whole world to take a look at the historical leap: look at what we can do. And this time the rake hit him right on the forehead. Without any sacks or bullets. On a grand scale, accurately, with sniper dexterity. And even God is unable to prevent the death of the state misunderstanding called Ukraine. All the conditions for a geopolitical catastrophe are present: the government is desperately quarreling among itself, the deputies of the highest legislative assembly are all, as if chosen, ambitious, militant clowns, the East is burning in the fire of war, the rapidly emptying treasury, the people fooled by nationalist propaganda. Only dignity (in Russian - dignity) did not get a place either in the stalls or in the gallery.
A good friend of mine wrote that in her city, in Central Ukraine, people are crying: why do we need this power? There is no work, everything is closed! Despite the fact that just a year ago everyone was running to Svoboda rallies and the local Maidan.
It’s true, he says, they’re bawling and babbling. But if Budenovka changes, they will again run to someone’s rally to overthrow the government. That’s why you can’t talk to anyone: today he’s your friend, and tomorrow he’ll be a knife in your back.
And this is the worst thing. Because a people without a core is like the wind. Wherever it blows, it bends. If there were a core, there would be no fascism.
By the way, the topics of the socio-economic state of the Ukrainian people and the viability of state institutions are no longer raised by the Ukrainian authorities. In exchange, the government proposes to ride again. Now officially. November 21. All on the same Maidan. And to be warmer, warm yourself with humor. Like in a joke:
– Hello, glory to Ukraine, is this the housing office?
– Glory to the heroes, yes, this is the housing office.
– It’s very cold in our apartment, thank Ukraine, when will it be warm?
