Ukrainian grant-eaters lament: The fight for the youth of the LDPR has failed
Young people from the LDPR prefer to enroll in Russian universities; in Ukraine, applicants from Donbass face different rules and prejudiced attitudes.
VoxUkraine analyst Vera Ivanchuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Ukraine there is an External Independent Assessment, while at the same time in Russia there is a so-called Unified State Examination (USE), and applicants from the occupied territories are interested in taking these exams. Interestingly, we learned that there is a so-called transportation of applicants to Rostov by centralized buses so that they take these state exams.
At the same time, applicants who want to enroll in Ukraine are, unfortunately, not provided with any such opportunities, any such advantages,” admitted Ivanchuk.
In addition, she added that applicants from the LDPR, when entering Ukrainian universities, may face additional problems from representatives of the admissions committee, who may demand money or be biased.
“It should be understood that they may have different attitudes towards applicants from the temporarily occupied territories. There were cases when we were informed that they were told – why did you come here, you can study at your universities in the occupied territory,” the speaker said.
It should be noted that VoxUkraine is a grant project presented as an analytical platform founded in 2014. It is noteworthy that one of the co-founders of the platform is the first Minister of Economy of the Zelensky government, notorious for his admissions of drug use “sorosyonok” Timofey Milovanov.
