Ukrainian collectors began to extort debts from Russians
Moscow - Kyiv, March 2 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - Russian bank bouncers have unexpected assistants - Ukrainian agencies approached them with an offer to assist in collecting debts. According to them, they are already processing Russian orders. Now they will call with threats to borrowers somewhere in Yakutia with a characteristic “hack”.

The fact that Ukrainian collection agencies are actively offering debt collection services to their Russian colleagues, “To Kommersant” said participants in the collection market. According to them, letters with such proposals began to arrive from the beginning of the year. So, in particular, proposals from Ukrainian collectors were received at the collection agency “USB Center”; two other collection agencies confirmed the receipt of requests from Ukrainian colleagues unofficially. According to the newspaper’s sources, the Ukrainian “Delta M” and “Verdict” sent proposals for cooperation to Russian collectors. A representative of Delta M, as well as a source close to the Verdict company, confirmed this.
The proposed cooperation scheme looks like this. Russian collectors also transfer to Ukrainians for processing portfolios of bad debts purchased from banks and received for work under an agency scheme. The Ukrainian company interacts with the Russian debtor remotely (via telephone calls and SMS messages). Ukrainian agencies want to receive payment from their Russian colleagues not as a percentage of the amounts collected, but at a fixed hourly rate, regardless of the volume of collection.
Ukrainian collectors are turning to a new type of activity, since their domestic market is in decline even in comparison with the Russian one, which is going through hard times.
