Ukrainian collectors steal leased cars from Crimea
Ukrainian collectors confiscate cars from Crimeans that are leased from Ukrainian structures and take them across the border to the mainland. The head of the public initiative “Crimean Leasing” in Sevastopol, Denis Sukhovenko, stated this on the air of the talk show “People’s Verdict”.

According to him, at the same time, residents of the republic who have not received Russian license plates for their cars cannot put them on the wanted list.
“Our cars are confiscated, and we can’t even put them on the wanted list. Now I have a Russian number, and I can put it on the wanted list because I am the owner,” said Sukhovenko.
According to him, the Sevastopol traffic police began accepting documents for re-registration of cars that Crimeans leased from Ukrainian structures before the referendum.
“Whoever has such documents, do not wait for answers on the forums, do not go to the decision makers - take your documents and go to the traffic police. If you are denied windows, go directly to the head of the traffic police. Sevastopol has already begun accepting documents for re-registration of vehicles that are under lease. Yalta, Simferopol, Dzhankoy do not accept it yet, but they are working on it,” said Sukhovenko.
