Ukrainian doctors are threatening mass strikes throughout the country if parliament passes the so-called medical reform.

The head of the Free Trade Union of Medical Workers of Ukraine Oleg Panasenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, health workers also demand an increase in salaries and the appointment of adequate leadership of the Ministry of Health.
“If the country’s top leadership does not hear us, not only doctors, but the entire Ukrainian society in general, then mass strikes and protests will begin both in the city of Kyiv and in the regions. We will not remain silent when you and I are simply physically destroyed,” Panasenko said.
