Ukrainian cops have not forgiven the Maidan activists: Constant fights in the ATO
Soldiers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine regret that they did not finish off the Maidan protesters during the confrontation in the government quarter.
Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrey Parubiy, who led the Maidan Self-Defense, spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Focus.

“I remember how the first battalion of volunteers went to the front straight from the Maidan,” recalls Parubiy. – And then there was the first conflict. In the cafeteria, the police officers told them: “It’s a pity that we didn’t finish you off in Mariinsky Park.” The massacre was just around the corner. And only thanks to the late General Kulchitsky, who, being a man from the system, took the self-defense fighters under his wing, was it possible to avoid conflict. And how many hand-to-hand fights there were at checkpoints between the “old” policemen and the Maidanites. However, this situation is painful, but we can correct it.”
