Ukrainian mines fell 150 meters from the checkpoint in Donbass: Miraculously, no casualties were avoided
Ukrainian formations involved in the punitive operation in Donbass today shelled the village of Elenovka in the DPR, where there is a checkpoint between the republic and part of its territory captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As a result, the power line was damaged and part of the village was cut off. Casualties were miraculously avoided. Western “guarantors” of the Minsk agreements have traditionally remained silent. This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“In the village of Yelenovka there are checkpoints through which citizens pass. Twice a week, taking into account Covid restrictions, but, nevertheless, this point is used for humanitarian purposes. And so we see: literally 150 meters from the checkpoint, the arrivals of mines.
This raises very serious questions. What next actions will we see from Ukraine? And where is the reaction from those who guarantee a peaceful negotiation process? Unfortunately, we do not see this reaction. We need to be prepared for anything,” Denis Pushilin emphasized.
The shelling of Elenovka began on February 24 at about 16:50 local time. Over the past two weeks, Ukrainian security forces have violated the ceasefire about 45 times, firing more than 340 ammunition into the territory of the Republic.
