Ukrainian operators punished themselves by stopping servicing Russian codes of Crimea - Sevastopol government
Sevastopol, November 11 (PolitNavigator, Svetlana Ivanova) - The cessation of service by Ukrainian mobile operators of Russian telephone codes in Crimea and Sevastopol will not cause any harm to the residents of Sevastopol, but will affect, first of all, the operators themselves.

Vadim Dvoryanenko, head of the communications and information technology department of the government of Sevastopol, told PolitNavigator about this.
Ukrainian mobile operators MTS-Ukraine and Kyivstar have stopped routing to the number resource of Russian telephone codes +7365 (Crimea) and +7869 (Sevastopol), issued by Rossvyaz.
Thus, from the territory of Ukraine it is impossible to make calls from a mobile number to a landline phone in Crimea.
“These subscribers will still have the opportunity to call Crimea and Sevastopol, but using such means as Skype and Viber. They are not yet controlled by the Ukrainian government. Thus, the Ukrainian government is “hitting” its operators with the hryvnia,” said a representative of the Sevastopol government.
Ukrainian operators made this decision based on the recommendations of the National Commission for the Regulation of Communications and Informatization of Ukraine
