Ukrainian marines departed for Georgia for NATO exercises
About 30 military personnel of the Marine Corps units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine departed for Georgia, where they will take part in the multinational exercise “Noble Partner-2017”.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About 30 servicemen from one of the marine corps units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left for Georgia, where they will take part in the multinational exercise Noble Partner-2017,” the message notes.
Ukrainian marines are involved in this event to acquire skills in joint actions of military personnel as part of a multinational unit in accordance with NATO standards. The Ukrainian military is led by Captain Irakli Kovalevsky.
Military personnel from about 10 countries are planned to participate in these exercises. The “Noble Partner-2017” exercise will last until August 15.
