Ukrainian marines went to NATO exercises in Bulgaria
Several dozen servicemen from one of the marine corps units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine departed for Bulgaria, where they will participate in the multinational NATO exercise “Platinum Lion-2017” at the training site.

“During the exercises, Ukrainian marines, together with their foreign colleagues, will practice defensive and offensive actions, the procedure for performing raid operations, as well as the technique of introducing live fire from small arms, tactics and techniques for patrolling, etc.,” the message says.
The purpose of participation in the event is for Ukrainian marines to acquire skills for joint action as part of a multinational unit in accordance with NATO standards. The exercises will last until August 11.
