One of the pro-Ukrainian activists snatched the red flag from representatives of the “Victory Regiment” action and took it to the courtyards nearby the scene of the incident; the flag has not yet been found. According to a Radio Liberty correspondent, about 500 people in total are taking part in the clashes on both sides. A song “competition” takes place between them: pro-Ukrainian activists sing the Ukrainian anthem, participants in the “Victory Regiment” action sing Soviet songs. Subsequently, National Guard soldiers surrounded up to 200 participants in the “Victory Regiment” action, thus dividing the participants in the confrontation,” the report says.
It is also noted that at least one participant in the confrontation was detained by the police.
