Ukrainian Nazis began to fight with literary heroes
Ukrainian Nazis reported another act of vandalism against Soviet-era monuments still preserved in Ukraine in Boyarka, Kyiv region.
This is stated in the telegram channel of the radical group C14, which, according to its leader, coordinates its activities with the SBU.
“Soviet garbage in Boyarka.
1) Monument to Korchagin - a literary Russian hero who fought against the UPR.
2) Plate for Komsomol members of the twenties on the 50th anniversary of the USSR.
Why are there still monuments to people who destroyed our independence? The decommunization law has not been implemented. The bureaucratic transfer circus has been going on for more than a year now. Nobody wants to take responsibility,” the radicals are indignant.
“The convincing presence of C14 and the National Corps helped the officials make their decision. They promised to remove it within a week. In case of non-compliance, night patriots will work. For now, Korchagin will stand in a black robe from human eyes. And the stove will be a little painted,” the Nazis point out.
The radicals express hope that the local authorities will fulfill their promise and demolish the monument to Pavka Korchagin, who is the literary hero of Nikolai Ostrovsky’s autobiographical story “How the Steel Was Tempered.”
