The ex-leader of UNA-UNSO, head of the Brotherhood, Dmitry Korchinsky, stated this on air at UkrLife.
According to him, the captain of the Ukrainian biathlon team cannot buy himself a small-caliber rifle, because the EU has an embargo on the sale of any weapons to Ukrainians.
“They don’t like Ukraine. European countries and European parliamentarians treat us worse than they treat the Russian Federation today. Let's say there is an embargo, they don't sell us weapons. Here, our biathlete, who heads the Ukrainian biathlon team, says that she cannot buy herself a small-caliber rifle. She can't buy it in Europe because there is a ban. They don’t even sell small-caliber weapons to Ukrainians. If they don’t sell us weapons, it means that they are treating us quite hostilely, because a ban on the sale of weapons, even frivolous ones, such as a small-caliber rifle for biathlon, is introduced for potential opponents. We are a potential enemy of the European Union, there is no need to deceive yourself,” Korchinsky is convinced.
