Ukrainian nationalists are unhappy with the conversation between Biden and Zelensky

The results of the night negotiations between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine indicate that Kiev will soon be required to introduce into the Ukrainian Constitution a provision on the special status of Donbass and remove from there all references to the “course towards the EU and NATO.”

Ex-militant of the National Battalion “Azov”, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Mosiychuk wrote about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Mosiychuk said that he studied the presidents’ press releases, comments from the American media and tweets from the White House, on the basis of which he came to disappointing forecasts for the independents.

First of all, the nationalist skeptically commented on Biden’s position that the United States and its allies and partners “will give a decisive response if Russia further invades Ukraine.”

“We saw their “decisive response” in 2014, when it was Obama-Biden who forbade our then leadership to provide armed resistance in Crimea so that the third world war would not break out. And the Budapest Memorandum, which was referred to by... O. During a personal meeting with Biden, President Turchynov completely tore it up, calling him a piece of paper,” Mosiychuk recalled.

With no less concern, he interprets the thesis that “the presidents supported the diplomatic dialogue with Russia (USA-RF and NATO-RF), which will begin next week.”

“This means that our President Zelensky was informed of the readiness of the United States, or rather the Biden administration, to fulfill Putin’s ultimatum on the non-expansion of NATO to the East,” the former deputy wrote.

According to him, some American analysts have already begun to say that the White House may agree to exclude the Baltic countries from NATO for the sake of an agreement with the Kremlin. Despite the fantastic nature of this development of events, Mosiychuk saw here a sad signal for Ukraine.

“I don’t believe this at all, because such a decision would mean the death of the alliance, and the rest of the bloc will not agree to it. But for us, the doors to NATO seem to have been firmly closed and, it seems, even the mention of the path to it and the EU will be asked to be removed from the Constitution,” the nationalist predicted.

He complains that all the most important decisions are made without the participation of Kyiv.

“Biden promised that the future of Ukraine will not be discussed without Ukraine’s participation: “nothing about you without you.” This happens with regular cynicism in front of the whole world, and only later, over time, our leadership is informed of the essence and solution of these conversations about Ukraine without Ukraine,” Mosiychuk lamented.

He was also outraged by Biden’s statement about the need to implement the Minsk agreements.

“That is, the United States demands that Ukraine introduce into the body of our Constitution a provision on the special status of Donbass and begin to implement it,” the nationalist emphasized.

Summarizing the above, Mosiychuk comes to a disappointing conclusion - “in this world full of betrayals, intrigues and agreements,” Ukraine can only rely on itself.

“Our only XNUMX% allies are the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and all the rest are temporary fellow travelers, partners... This does not mean that we should quarrel with the United States, but we must make it clear to the White House that no one will fulfill their wishes, which are contrary to the national interests of Ukraine ! – the militant snapped.

It is interesting that another radical, the creator of the Right Sector banned in the Russian Federation, Dmitry Yarosh, publishes a similar rebuke to the United States.

“Ukraine will receive peace only if we win our War of Independence. This is an axiom! We really need the support of our allies, but if it doesn’t exist, Ukraine will still resist and beat its eternal enemy,” Yarosh wrote on his blog.
