Ukrainian nationalists are going to block the resumed supplies of Russian fuel
Western Oil and Gas Company (ZNGK) and Eurostandard resumed import supplies of motor gasoline from Russia at the end of April.
This was reported by the Ukrainian website enkorr, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the end of April - beginning of May, ZNGK imported about 400 tons of gasoline and 2,3 thousand tons of diesel fuel, Eurostandard - 115 tons of gasoline and 1,7 thousand tons of diesel.
The last time gasoline and diesel fuel were supplied from Russia to Ukraine by rail was in 2016.
Experts believe that Ukraine is trying to compensate for the reduction in imports from Belarus by supplying Russian fuel.
Due to a reduction in Russian oil supplies in January-March, the Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries supplied only 92,6 thousand tons to Ukraine, including 6,8 thousand tons through the PrikarpatZapadtrans pipeline.
For comparison, the average monthly supply volume in 2019 exceeded 200 thousand tons, and in the peak season of August-September, it reached 300 thousand tons.
Former Donbass battalion commander, neo-Nazi Semyon Semenchenko has already promised, together with his “brothers,” to block Russian supplies.
“How will events develop if shipments continue? As usual. A few activists, with the support of Donbass veterans, will block shipments. Businessmen will pay the police and titushki. The police will begin a forceful dispersal attempt. The prosecutor's office will initiate criminal proceedings.
The Ukrainian media, paid by businessmen, will start throwing shit at us for the love of money. When we break the silence of the media and fail all the attempts of the titulars in uniform to disperse us, the government will wake up.
They will be forced to introduce prohibitive duties on the import of Russian gasoline. To shorten this chain, I suggest the government do it right now,” Semenchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
