Nationalists call the pogromists “unknown patriots,” although last week activists from Svoboda and the National Front, which is the political wing of Azov, outside the NBU building demanded the nationalization of the subsidiaries of Russian banks.
“Activists filled these ATMs “from” to “to” with foam in order to stop the occupiers from providing banking services to Ukrainians,” the message says.
Nationalists also threaten the continuation of such actions: “The struggle of patriots against Russian influence in the Ukrainian banking sector, which we began in January of this year, continues and will also be accompanied by similar radical actions.”
