The reason was an attempt to vote for the appointment of two deputy city mayors, whom nationalists consider supporters of the DPR.
A group of people with a red and black flag and “Freedom” T-shirts came to the podium and began to obstruct the session (interestingly, the local media, apparently intimidated and competing in loyalty to Kyiv, called the right-wing radicals nothing more than “the public”).
The presenter was forced to announce a break, but the deputies were unable to leave the hall, as the doors were blocked by nationalists.
As a result, the session had to be postponed to another day.
