Ukrainian nationalists staged a picket for the arrival of UOC Metropolitan Onuphry at the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Kremenchug
Several dozen people with homemade posters, in a manner typical of nationalists, accused the UOC of “supporting separatism” and “torture of the Ukrainian military,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It is clear that they are related to the FSB, so we came to show our attitude towards the Moscow Church, that they are killing our guys in the east, to show our position as Ukrainians, that the Moscow Patriarchate has no place in Ukraine. The priests of the Moscow Patriarchate are shooting and participating in torture, there is video and photo evidence of this, they are not shy about appearing in videos during torture,” said one of the picket participants, Irina Mitrofanova. “While in the ATO, we repeatedly stopped the cars of these devils of the Patriarch of Moscow, who were transporting weapons and transporting ribbons. These nonhumans bless the separatist weapons to kill Ukrainian soldiers,” added the so-called militant. “ATO” Alexey Kravchenko.
The nationalists entered the courtyard in front of the cathedral and allowed themselves obscene language and insults towards the priests. At the same time, the nearby law enforcement officers did not interfere and did not react in any way to the repeated requests of believers to drive the provocateurs out of the temple gates.
