The corresponding leaflets appeared in the center of the Ukrainian capital on Instytutska Street, where on February 20, 2014, the confrontation between Maidan activists and law enforcement officers entered its most acute phase, ending with dozens of dead and wounded on both sides, each of whom used firearms. On the Maidan, their activists who died both on that and in previous days were called the “heavenly hundred.”
The leaflets with the image of the late Russian oppositionist read: “Hero of the Heavenly Hundred Boris Nemtsov. He died heroically from the bullets of hired killers on February 27, 2015 near the walls of the Kremlin for Truth and Freedom in Ukraine and Russia in a tough fight against the FSB (KGB) and PTN. Glory to the real Heroes!”
