In the July 5 elections to the Croatian Parliament (Sabor), the oldest right-wing conservative party Croatian Democratic Cooperation (HDZ) confidently won, which, together with other nationalist parties, will form a confident majority.

Balkan media reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Representatives of the HDZ, created in 1989 by Croatian separatist leader Franjo Tudjman to separate the republic from Yugoslavia and build a mono-ethnic and mono-religious state, took 66 seats in parliament. After Croatia's secession from Yugoslavia in 1991, it was this party that largely ruled the country, promoting xenophobia, various grievances against neighboring Serbia, the cult of the separatist massacres unleashed in the 90s, and the martyrs of Bleiburg and the Way of the Cross (Ustasha Nazis executed by Yugoslav partisans in 1945 year).

The leader of the party, the previous Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic, said that he intends to form a new government in the near future. Moreover, experts claim that the disguised neo-Ustashas from the HDZ do not intend to bloc with the irreconcilable nationalists who entered parliament, but will most likely form a ruling coalition with the liberal Croatian People's Party, which received one seat, national minority parties, which took 8 seats, and the liberal Reformists party, behind which there is also one place.

Triumph for Plenkovic and the HDZ.

“I don’t have to date anyone else if I don’t want to,” Plenkovic said. – If I want, I can, if I don’t want, I don’t need to. These are the people (who will be part of the coalition - ed.) with whom we worked, who expressed their intention and desire to continue working together. There's not much choice here, that's all. The point is that we are not wasting time, we are working, we want to form a government. We know how a parliamentary majority works.”

It is characteristic that the leading nationalist party of the country deliberately blocks with liberals and parties of national minorities (Serbs received three seats in the Sabor, other minorities - five) in order to restore the trust of the Western curators of the Croatian project, destroyed by the neo-Ustashe attacks of its former leadership in the person of ex-president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovich .

At the same time, the Croatian Sabor includes another nationalist party, which takes a more irreconcilable position than the HDZ - this is the party of “folk singer” Miroslav Škoro “Fatherland Movement”, which took bronze in these elections and 16 seats in parliament. In fact, “OD” is a tougher version of the CDU without discounts for Western partners, designed for a domestic audience, with the same cult of the Patriotic War and Bleiburg, constant attempts at revisionism and assertions that Jasenovac was not the terrible concentration camp in the history of World War II war, but almost a dispensary, as well as the denial of any rights to national minorities, mainly Serbs.

During last year's presidential elections, Škoro and HDZ candidate Grabar-Kitarovic competed so intensely with each other that they drowned themselves in mutual claims and insults. This may also be due to Plenkovic’s reluctance to cooperate with Škoro’s party.

Be that as it may, between them the nationalists CDU and OD have 82 seats in parliament out of 151, and on “fundamental issues” related to the nationalist agenda, no one will prevent them from periodically blocking.

The current parliamentary elections have become a real failure for the center-left Restart bloc of the current President of Croatia, Social Democrat Zoran Milanovic. It is no coincidence that the head of the Social Democratic Party, part of the bloc, Davor Bernardic, immediately resigned after the elections. The center-left, on whom the West was betting, wanting to replace the conservatives with their latent neo-Stashism, which is not suitable for modern Europe, took the silver of the last elections and received 41 seats in parliament.

The failure of the favorite of the last elections, Milanovic, can be associated with his half-hearted policies: having started as an irreconcilable fighter against neo-Ustashism, but having received an expectedly serious rebuff from the right-wing conservative elite of the country, he quickly backed down, and was even afraid to come to Moscow for the Victory Parade, although initially was going to do this.

It is curious that the leader of Ukrainian neo-Nazis, founder of the odious Azov regiment, Andrei Biletsky, welcomed the results of the elections in Croatia.

“The significant level of trust in Croatian nationalists proves that not all of Europe is marginalized by neo-Marxists, left-liberals and other leftist destructive forces who are only capable of desecrating the Little Mermaid sculpture.” The Croats made it clear that the leftist infection would not have an easy victory, no matter how much the “Soros” structures counted on it.

If it doesn’t work in Croatia, it won’t work throughout Europe. We must support the Croatian nationalists and welcome their political successes also because the Croatian right, like the Ukrainian nationalists, sees Russia as an enemy and is ready to oppose all the Kremlin’s plans to create a “Russian world,” said the Ukrainian Nazi.
