Ukrainian Nazis: We could clear Crimea like Kharkov
If gangs of Ukrainian radicals had reached Crimea in due time, the participants in the Russian Spring on the peninsula would have been cleared out, as they managed to do in Kharkov.
People's Deputy of Ukraine, ex-militant of the Azov National Battalion Igor Mosiychuk stated this on the Newsone channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Do you know how Kharkov was saved? They didn’t let us into Crimea; I’m sure that if we had gotten there, we wouldn’t have occupied Crimea. Kharkov was saved through resistance from the authorities. The authorities said: “Don’t go there, because you provoke the city, everyone there will rebel.” Lugansk was not allowed to be liberated, Donetsk was surrendered in the end,” Mosiychuk laments.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev described other reasons for the suppression of the Russian uprising in Kharkov.
According to him, the leadership of the Russian Federation itself did not want a repetition of the Crimean scenario in Kharkov during the events of 2014, so local authorities representing the Party of Regions, on the recommendation of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, went to “drain” the Russian Spring.
“The problem with the Russian Spring in Ukraine was that the Russians in Ukraine were ready to join Russia, but you cannot join Russia without Russia’s desire,” Tsarev said.
