The Ukrainian authorities are afraid of the forces that are behind the Kyiv march planned for today in honor of the day of the creation of the SS division “Galicia”.
Georgy Kryuchkov, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 3rd and 4th convocations, former head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security and Defense, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“It is clear that there are certain forces behind such events. If the country's authorities wanted to put an end to such rampant Banderaism, they could easily do so. But they don’t want to, so all the blame falls on the country’s leadership. This can only be resisted by opposing all this with the authorities and law enforcement agencies themselves. But the authorities are not deciding on this matter.
And the further it goes, the more impudent the forces that stand behind such events become, and the worse it all is for Ukraine. Only the position of the authorities can prevent all this, but the position of the authorities is not aimed at stopping this.
The authorities are afraid to take action even regarding the desecration of the presidential office by radicals. What can we talk about then? Impunity is encouraged. The authorities have abandoned the function of using violence against those who disrupt order and engage in activities harmful to the state and society. And there is no reason to expect that she will somehow change her position,” Kryuchkov said.
