Ukrainian Nazis beat Navalny's supporters in Kyiv
In Kyiv, near the Russian Embassy, nationalists beat up participants in a rally in support of the Russian liberal blogger Alexei Navalny.
About fifty people gathered under the embassy building, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The protesters, in solidarity with the Russian Maidan protesters, came out with anti-Putin slogans and posters “Stop lying,” “Freedom for Navalny,” and so on. They also brought toilet brushes.
However, at the same moment, about two dozen Ukrainian nationalists came to the Russian diplomatic establishment and began to snatch sticks with posters from the hands of the navalnyats, and also rip off slogans from the fence.
Verbal skirmishes quickly escalated into brawls. The police made attempts to intervene, but were met with organized resistance from the nationalists.
Exhortations that their idol is “shaking” the Putin regime did not find understanding among the radicals, who reproached Navalny for his vague position on Crimea.
“Putin is x@@o! Navalny x@@o!” shouted the radicals, smashing posters and handing out punches to the rally participants.
