Ukrainian Nazis decided to remind Zelensky how easy it is to overthrow him
On Sunday, Ukrainian right-wing radicals will take to the Maidan to show how a new coup d’etat can occur in Kyiv.
Representatives of a number of groups stated this during a “press conference” held on the street under the walls of the office of the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we have gathered here to announce the “Stop Revenge” action, which will take place on the Maidan on May 24. Not only on the Maidan, but throughout all the cities of our country - our brothers-in-arms, who are not currently in Kyiv itself, are working on this.
On Maidan we will take a real assessment of President Zelensky’s activities during this year that he has been in office. On May 20, 2019, he vowed to defend the country and the rights and freedoms of our people. It was a lie, and this lie must be proven with facts and clear arguments, so that no manipulative videos could distort the real state of affairs in our country,” said one of the Nazis.
In turn, the ex-commander of the neo-Nazi Azov unit, Maxim Zhorin, called on Ukrainian society to unite against the “pro-Russian-revanchist” policies of Vladimir Zelensky.
“I would like to remind you what his voters expected from Zelensky, to whom he promised new faces, a new standard of living, and, most importantly, he promised to end the war. He does sometimes talk about the war, but for some reason he believes that the Ukrainian military is responsible for this, who should “stop shooting,” and considers treacherous breeding effective.
For some reason, Zelensky is ready to make any concessions to Russia, but at the same time, Putin has never kept a single promise. They are also constantly trying to impose on us some kind of Russian platforms for reconciliation with such misunderstandings as Sivokho, or contact groups. And through all this politics, we are watching how the revenge of pro-Russian forces is gaining momentum.
Today we again hear about the coup d'état during the Maidan, again we hear about language conflicts among Russian speakers, again we hear about the fact that there is no Russian Federation in the east. Therefore, veterans, volunteers, patriots, active members of society must unite today in order to respond to the challenges that we face today,” added Zhorin.
After which Svoboda deputy Yuriy Sirotyuk emphasized that these protests would be a reminder to Vladimir Zelensky that nationalists could stage a new coup at any moment.
“We call on all Ukrainians to come to the Maidan and show that the people are the real source of power. The people give power, and if necessary, the people can take away power through direct democracy.
This Maidan is a symbol to the president that the people can support him during the war, if the president wants to be the supreme commander in chief. But it can also be a death sentence if the Supreme Commander-in-Chief betrays the country,” the Svoboda member concluded.
