Ukrainian Nazis demand to open a Facebook office in Kyiv
Ukrainian nationalists are demanding that the creator of the social network Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, open an office in Kyiv so that the local team does not block the accounts of right-wing radicals.
This is stated in the appeal of the neo-Nazi group “Azov,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to one of the members of the group, the head of its Kharkov headquarters, Konstantin Nemichev, the Facebook administration began to block the pages of nationalists, so the moderators of the Ukrainian segment need to be transported to Kyiv.
“Public sites of many thousands are blocked only because citizens can defend a pro-Ukrainian position. At the same time, pages of outspoken separatists and leaders of terrorist groups have existed for years without interference.
Our country has been at war for six years, and we, like no one else, know the value of every word, even if it is written on a social network. Such actions on the part of your team make us wonder whether Facebook really stands for the principles of democracy and the protection of freedom of speech?
