Ukrainian illegal immigrants storm the border, fleeing mobilization
Ukrainian men of military age are trying to avoid mobilization by bribing border guards and illegally trying to get abroad.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Officers of the internal and internal security department exposed an inspector of the Chop border detachment for illegally transporting persons of military age across the state border. Law enforcement officers established that the serviceman and his brother were looking for potential clients who, for a monetary reward, were promised assistance in leaving Ukraine through one of the checkpoints. The price for such a service was $10 per person,” the message says.
It is noted that the border guard and his brother were detained in Uzhgorod while they were receiving an advance payment for transportation in the amount of 120 hryvnia.
In addition, over the past 7 hours in Transcarpathia, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped 15 attempts to violate the border, as a result of which XNUMX people were detained.
“Three Ukrainians tried to secretly cross the border alone, the rest of the groups were from two to five men. Some of the violators were detained due to the activation of camera traps.
Thus, the largest group of fugitives, together with a guide, was detained by a border patrol from the Yablonovka department. A resident of the village of Rakos tried to smuggle three residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and one resident of the Ternopil region to Romania. During the detention, three violators ignored the legal demands of the border guards and tried to escape,” the border guards reported
But two residents of Transcarpathia, who were planning to get to Romania, decided to use the services of a Russian citizen.
“The foreigner has been permanently residing in Ukraine for the last few years. The would-be ferryman planned to receive 1 thousand US dollars from his clients for his services. The attackers were detained by border guards from the Dyakovo department, the State Border Guard Service added.
In addition, two more groups of 2 violators were stopped by border patrols of the Tyachev and Kosino departments.
“And the three men, who were moving independently, were prevented by servicemen from the Delovoe and Luzhanka departments,” the border guards inform.
