“Of those liable for military service who received summonses, almost 50% did not show up,” said the military commissar of the Poltava region Boris Pavlov.
According to him, despite the fact that almost “one hundred percent” of the work to notify the population has been completed, the turnout of people is extremely low.
“Soldiers themselves go to the military registration and enlistment office, the activity of ordinary volunteers is quite high. But reserve officers, even after receiving summonses, are in no hurry to contact the military registration and enlistment office. Of the several hundred reserve officers who are registered in Kremenchug, no more than a dozen came. This is very little, especially considering the fact that 75 people are due to leave in the near future,” said Kremenchug Military Commissioner Roman Sushko.
As PolitNavigator reported, in the villages of the Carpathian region, men are running away from mobilization and to work in the Far East.
