Ukrainian parties may lose their “lucky” places on the ballot
At a meeting of authorized party representatives on Sunday, the Central Election Commission (CEC) plans to consider the issue of the order of placement of political forces on the ballot, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
The press service of the Central Election Commission reported this.
“On June 30 at 12:00, the Commission will hold a meeting to discuss the issue of the order of placement of political parties included on the ballot in a national multi-member electoral district during the early elections of people’s deputies on July 21, 2019, to which authorized representatives of political parties in the CEC are invited with the right advisory voice,” the message says.
As noted, the meeting is related to the decision of the Supreme Court of June 29, 2019, according to which the Central Election Commission was forced to register candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine from the political party “Rukh of New Forces” of Mikheil Saakashvili in the national multi-mandate electoral district and single-mandate electoral districts.
