Ukrainian “patriots” continue to mock Crimeans greeting trains
The wild joy of the residents of Crimea about the opening railway communication across the Kerch Bridge is allegedly unnatural, because in Ukraine such celebrations were not observed when welcoming trains.
Ukrainian journalist Yanina Sokolovskaya stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What have you brought the Crimean citizens of Ukraine to, that they are kissing your trains? Don’t you feed them, don’t give them water, what in general do you do with them? Did they turn on the zombie box? I'm really worried. While you weren’t there, our trains weren’t kissed,” she said.
In turn, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov recalled that it was Ukraine that cut off electricity and water to the residents of the peninsula.
“The Ukrainian authorities have never considered Crimea theirs. Because in your time, when you were in charge there, you didn’t build anything, everything fell into disrepair.
I believe we (Russia - approx. ed.) opened not two, but three bridges. I told the President of the Russian Federation about this yesterday. The first was the energy bridge. And you closed the energy bridge that was from Ukraine. You took it and blew it up. It turns out that you decided to leave two million people without water and electricity.
You should then be glad that Russia, at least in this sense, decided to support the people,” the deputy said.
