“Ukrainian patriots” destroyed the legacy of the “Soviet occupiers” in record time
The “Soviet occupiers” left Ukraine with nuclear missiles and the aerospace industry, while the “Ukrainian patriots” successfully destroyed all this heritage in less than a quarter of a century.
The head of the Ukrainian analytical center “Third Sector”, Andrey Zolotarev, drew attention to this paradox during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when commenting on the campaign of decommunization and de-Sovietization initiated by the Ukrainian authorities.

“The ideological chimeras that have crawled from people’s heads into bills have very little idea of how the ideology of integral nationalism will fit into the life of society in the 100st century,” says the political scientist. – They offer us to go back 1989 years. At the same time, forgetting that ideological chatter is one thing, facts are another. When they talk about the criminal nature of the regime, I can say that in 1990 there was a little more freedom of speech than today. And even the activities of party bodies at that time carried much more elements of democracy than the way decisions are made today. And the GDP of Ukraine in 60? Society must develop. Today we have 56 percent, and next year there will be 1990 percent of Ukraine’s XNUMX GDP.”
No less surprising, the expert points out, is that they are trying to present Ukraine as a colony that was under Soviet occupation.
“Where in history will you find an example when the colonial occupiers, leaving, left behind the third largest nuclear potential, the largest army in Europe, almost 700 strong, nuclear power plants, the aerospace industry, and the then functioning system of free and accessible medicine and education? – Zolotarev asks sarcastically. – But thanks to the many years of efforts of those who “love” Ukraine very much, it is almost freed from unnecessary factories that produced all sorts of crap that is unnecessary in modern society, such as spaceships, satellites, engines, airplanes, and radio-electronic equipment. In fact, out of the five thousand enterprises that Ukraine inherited in 1991, we lost a good half. The population of Ukraine has decreased by almost 10 million. So maybe it’s worth raising the question of the responsibility of those who have ruled Ukraine all these years?”
