Ukrainian patrol police have been responsible for 500 road accidents since the beginning of the year
In Ukraine, in January-September 2017, there were 490 road accidents involving patrol police vehicles, which is 17% more than last year. Thus, the patrol police, the successor to the traffic police, only increased the number of incidents on the roads.

According to information from the Patrol Police Department, over the nine months of this year, in particular, in Ukraine there were 216 accidents involving patrol officers, but due to the fault of third parties, 116 accidents due to the fault of patrol officers, and there was no court decision on 158 accidents. In Kyiv during this time, only 162 road accidents involving patrol officers were recorded, including 67 road accidents due to their fault.
At the same time, as the police noted, from October 1 to October 20 this year, 29 such accidents occurred throughout the country, and 9 in Kyiv.
In addition, according to the police, after accidents on the roads, 150 patrol cars were repaired in January-September, while 2 police patrol cars could not be repaired.
Let us recall that in 2016 in Ukraine there were 419 road accidents involving patrol police vehicles.
