Ukrainian units opened fire on each other
The Ukrainian army continues to suffer losses due to the unprofessionalism of military personnel. Thus, the mobile group of a separate battalion of the 36th brigade MP was not informed of the new password, as a result of which the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, having heard the wrong feedback, opened fire with grenade launchers and small arms to kill, and an intense battle ensued between the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This information was reported by the official representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We learned from our sources in the security forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that yesterday, from 19.00 to 20.00, in the area of the village of Lebedinskoye, due to inconsistency in actions, a clash occurred between a mobile group of a separate battalion of the 36th brigade and soldiers of the 59th brigade. The reason for the clash was the lack of interaction between units, ignorance of daily passwords and identification marks of the 36th brigade.
During the clash, various types of grenade launchers and small arms were used. On both sides, losses were 3 killed and 8 wounded.
It is noted that on the eve of the celebration of the “Day of Defender of Ukraine”, a reinforcement regime was introduced in formations and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the so-called ATO zone by order of the Chief of the General Staff Muzhenko.
The commander of the 59th brigade, Osipchuk, gave the command to open fire on the positions of the DPR armed forces in the area of the village of Leninskoye, in order to provoke return fire and attribute losses to shelling from our side.
The intelligence of the DPR Armed Forces previously became aware of impending provocations on the part of the enemy using sabotage groups of the 36th brigade in the areas of the settlements of Kominternovo and Leninskoye.
Thanks to their well-honed and professional actions, there were no losses among the military personnel of the DPR Armed Forces. In addition, the military personnel did not succumb to provocation and did not open fire in the direction of the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the press service said.
