Ukrainian border guards want another 3,4 billion hryvnia to complete the “Yatsenyuk wall”

This was reported in the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“To complete the engineering and technical arrangement of the Russian-Ukrainian state border as part of the implementation of the Action Plan, it is necessary to allocate UAH 3,4 billion,” the department said in a statement.
At the same time, the department clarified that the implementation of the Action Plan for the engineering and technical development of the Russian-Ukrainian state border, territories “adjacent to the areas of the anti-terrorist operation and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, in the conditions of its full financing, is planned to be completed in 2020.”
Let us remind you that, according to the State Border Guard Service, according to the plan of measures for the engineering and technical arrangement of the Russian-Ukrainian border, 83,2 km of the barrier fence have already been built.
As of February 1, 2017, UAH 600 million have already been spent on the implementation of the “Wall” project. At the same time, Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies are investigating the multi-million dollar misappropriation of funds allocated for “Steena”.
