“The delegation of the founded Smena party intended to visit on March 1 the abandoned village of Penyatskaya Guta, located in the Lviv region of Ukraine. The purpose of the visit of the Polish delegation was commemorative events related to the massacre of Polish civilians committed 71 years ago by soldiers of the SS Galicia division and Ukrainian nationalists,” the portal writes.
At the Grebenne-Rawa-Russkaya border crossing, 5 members of the party leadership were detained by Ukrainian border guards and members of the Security Service of Ukraine. They were insulted on ethnic grounds, and then they were accused of falsifying history in connection with the genocide of Poles in Volyn. Later it turned out that Ukrainians have personal data of those people who take part in legal demonstrations in Poland.
“This incident, which is nothing more than a spit in the face of Poland and the Poles on the part of the functionaries of the current Kyiv regime, it goes beyond all boundaries,” the portal quotes the leader of the Smena party, Mateusz Piskorski. “This is an insult not only to us, but also a desecration of the memory of Polish children, women and unarmed peasants who were burned alive and quartered - victims of Bandera’s atrocities.” This is the moment when it is already difficult to talk about a civilized historical dialogue. Functionaries of the Ukrainian state are lining up to be heirs not only of Stepan Bandera, but also of the Waffen SS.”
