This was stated by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Lysenko.
According to him, last night the border guards of the Donetsk detachment stopped a Russian citizen at the Uspenka checkpoint for inspection.
It turned out that the Russian who was leaving Ukraine did not have any stamps indicating entry into Ukraine. During the inspection of his belongings, shoulder straps of a major general of the “Cossacks”, 10 people’s militia chevrons, a Siberian Cossacks chevron, a hunting knife, business cards of coordination centers, an electronic drive and a laptop were found.
“When viewing information from a flash drive and laptop, many photos of this citizen in the uniform of a major general of the Cossacks and photos of Cossack special forces with automatic weapons were discovered, special-purpose documents - a manual for a Russian Cossack, methods and methods of fighting a militia, and in a mobile phone - numbers of terrorists ", the National Security and Defense Council said in a statement.
According to the department, the detainee was handed over to ATO officers.
In addition, in the Kharkov region, at the Kupyansk-Uzlovoy and Cossack Lopan checkpoints, border guards detained “three suspicious citizens of the Russian Federation” who “tried to join terrorist gangs.”
As Navigator reported, earlier DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated that volunteers, including from Russia, provide significant assistance to the militias.
