A boat from neighboring Romania was detained by border guards of the Izmail detachment at the Kislitsky mouth of the Danube River, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

About it reports the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
“Despite working means of navigation and communication, the detainee claimed that he was lost. An interesting fact is that this is not the first such case. Recently, a similar type of boat with two Romanian citizens of the same age and also with working instruments was detained in the same area. Then, as now, the Romanians insisted that they were simply lost,” the report says.
Foreigners are brought to administrative responsibility for violating the state border. The Romanian citizen and his boat were handed over to their Romanian colleagues at the border representative meeting.
