Ukrainian border guards state that on February 28, “there were attempts to block the Sevastopol naval guard detachment, a violation of bilateral agreements regulating the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea by 11 military helicopters and 8 aircraft that made an undeclared landing at the Kacha and Gvardeyskoye airfields and refused border and customs clearance, as well as the movement of warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.”
“On the morning of March 1, the Simferopol-Avia checkpoint continues to be surrounded by armed persons who do not interfere with the work of the control services. During the day, 13 aircraft were processed through the checkpoint,” the message emphasizes.
