Ukrainian police reported on arrests of people with St. George ribbons

In Ukraine, during the festive events on May 9, more than two dozen people were detained for wearing St. George ribbons.
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergei Yarovoy stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the moment the situation is stable. Ten persons were detained and protocols were drawn up for the use and production of prohibited symbols. A decision is being made to draw up administrative protocols for 10 persons,” he said.
