Ukrainian politicians are preparing for emigration and imprisonment
Today there is no longer any reason to say that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and law enforcement agencies are united.
Former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, lawyer Andrei Portnov, who received management of the popular Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne for three years, said this in an interview with the Kyiv online newspaper “Strana”, a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
The publication asked whether pressure on the channel’s staff would now increase from the authorities, given that Portnov himself harshly criticizes the current regime, including Poroshenko.
“It will not increase, because the president and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine today are disparate people, some of whom are already preparing to emigrate, some are expecting their imprisonment, and some still hope that they have a chance to survive. Let me remind you – 4 months and 2 days until the start of the presidential election campaign, 7 months and 2 days until its finish. This time will pass very quickly,” Portnov said.
Previously Portnov received control of the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne and stated that now on all issues in terms of the information policy of the Bankovaya TV channel, she must negotiate with him personally, which, according to him, is impossible.
