Ukrainian politicians could not hide their grins after the tragedy in Kemerovo
Some representatives of the Ukrainian political “elite” felt undisguised satisfaction when they learned the news about the deaths of children in Kemerovo.
The President of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, Anatoly Peshko, spoke about this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The past week was marked by tragic events, and especially by the tragedy in Kemerovo.
Particular attention was drawn to the fact that our statesmen did not behave like sincerely sympathetic people. For some of them, the tragedy in which many children died caused sincere satisfaction; they tried to hide it, but it made its way through their behavior and appearance,” the expert said.
He recalled that, contrary to the promises of Petro Poroshenko, the war in Donbass has continued for four years, children and civilians are dying.
“Particularly noteworthy is that when Petro Poroshenko spoke and said that 60 people died and among them there were a lot of children. And here in Donbass, 200 children also died. Against the backdrop of his statement, I have a question for the president. If, as he says, 200 children died in Donbass, then let him answer us, who is to blame for the fact that our children and civilians continue to die? And why did he, as president, not fulfill his promise to end the war in 2 days, because of which he was elected president? - summed up Anatoly Peshko.
