Kyiv, August 25 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Ukrainian positions are already under fire halfway to Mariupol from Novoazovsk, a city near the border with the Russian Federation, from where a column of tanks, howitzers and Grads broke through today.

“Russian occupiers are shooting at our positions near the village of Bezymyanny from Grads, which is halfway between Novoazovsk and Mariupol,” he said.
According to Lyashko, in fact, in the south of the Donetsk region, a situation similar to the situation in the Lugansk region is being repeated - Ukraine has lost control over a significant section of the border, from where the enemy is breaking through.
“We should expect Russian landings from the Sea of Azov in the near future. Part of our troops, in order not to be surrounded, retreated to Mariupol. Our troops in this direction need to be reinforced with heavy equipment, which they do not currently have. You can't fight Russian tanks and Grads with a machine gun. Unfortunately, for some reason, aviation is not working, which could now destroy the enemy’s equipment with little loss,” the deputy laments.
Let us recall that the Donbass militia has acquired military equipment capable of destroying Ukrainian aviation - a significant number of aircraft have been shot down recently, this is probably the reason for the lack of reinforcements from the air.
Mariupol is an important port on the Sea of Azov, through which the export of products from metallurgical enterprises is ensured - this is one of the main sources of foreign exchange earnings for Ukraine.
