This opinion was expressed at a round table in Kyiv by the first director of the Union of Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine, Vyacheslav Bykovets, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Whatever we take – doing business, the impact on small and medium-sized businesses, the impact on the economy as a whole, the impact on investments – of course, there will only be negative things,” says Bykovets.
He also suggested that the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry prepare a corresponding appeal to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
At the same time, the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rostislav Korobka, believes that an increase in tariffs for connecting to power grids will lead to higher prices for housing.
“If we talk about the construction industry, an increase in the cost of connecting to networks will lead to an increase in the cost per square meter of housing, primarily social housing. Today in our region, Kyiv and the Kyiv region, most of the construction is in the Kyiv region. The situation will get worse. There is already a lot of competition, and the cost will continue to rise,” Korobka warned.
As PolitNavigator reported, under the guise of fighting in Avdeevka, the Ukrainian state electricity regulator NEURKU, by its decision, increased the payment for connecting legal entities to electrical networks sixfold.
We also note that the position of head of the National Energy and Regulatory Commission was once taken by a 24-year-old manager of the Roshen corporation owned by President Poroshenko. Dmitry Vovk, who has never had anything to do with energy and dismissed from his previous job for unsatisfactory results.
