Ukrainian prosecutors extorted $45 from a treason suspect
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Prosecutor General's Office, detained two prosecutors in Kyiv and Artemovsk who were extorting money from ex-deputy Vasily Ganysh, suspected of high treason.

As law enforcement officers learned, the procedural leaders of the case demanded 45 thousand US dollars from the ex-deputy for changing the charge to a less serious one.
After the “bargaining,” the prosecutors demanded 15 thousand dollars for the provision of “their services.”
Both employees of the prosecutor's office have been declared suspicious of committing a crime, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is now being decided.
