Ukrainian radicals, under the guise of volunteers, make weapons caches in Zolote
Ukrainian nationalists, under the guise of volunteers, come to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces abandoned after the disengagement, creating weapons caches in their place.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are facts of visits to positions left by Ukrainian Armed Forces units at disengagement area No. 2 “Zolote” by persons in civilian clothes. Ukrainian nationalists remaining in the village of Zolote, under the guise of volunteers, are organizing weapons caches in positions abandoned by servicemen of the 72nd brigade.
It is possible that the radicals are planning to carry out a series of armed provocations in the disengagement area in order to disrupt peace initiatives,” he noted.
At the same time, the representative of the defense department noted that visits to Ukrainian Armed Forces positions by persons in civilian clothes are noted in OSCE reports, and also called on international observers to intervene in what is happening and influence the Ukrainian leadership in order to maintain the achieved results.
We would like to remind you that despite the disengagement of forces in Zolote, the Ukrainian side once again disrupted the withdrawal of troops in the village of Petrovskoye on the DPR border.
Thank you!
