Ukrainian radicals broke into the estate of Inter co-owner
Militants of the National Corps broke into the estate of one of the owners of the Inter TV channel, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Levochkin, near Kiev, breaking the fence and also clashing with security.
“Since Inter ignored our action yesterday, we are starting a long, systematic action and fight with the owners of the TV channel. Today’s goal is to convey greetings to Mr. Lyovochkin,” said Roman Chernyshev, head of the National Corps press service.
Now the radicals are painting the walls of Lyovochkin’s unfinished house with spray paint and putting up their stickers.
Earlier, the National Corps announced a long-term action against the Inter TV channel for broadcasting a concert on May 9, which criticized the policy of renaming the streets of Ukrainian cities in honor of fascist collaborators.
Earlier, Kiev political scientist Sergei Belashko did not rule out that the actions of nationalists against Inter and the deputies from the Opposition Bloc that control it may be a “negotiation” with the aim of bringing an opponent convenient for Petro Poroshenko into the second round of the presidential election.
Belashko recalled that at one time it was Inter that actively participated in the promotion of the nationalist party Svoboda, whose leader, Oleg Tyagnibok, was planned to be used as a convenient sparring partner by Viktor Yanukovych’s technologists.
Sergei Levochkin, who previously worked as the head of Yanukovych’s administration, was called in the Ukrainian media one of the secret organizers of the first stage of Euromaidan.
